CONSIGNMENT AS THE ANSWER
We are a retail outlet that offers the consignor (seller) a well displayed showeroom and maximum exposure for selling new and High Quality, pre-owned home furnishings and accessories. It is an alternative way to bring buyers and sellers together. The consignor places their items in our showroom for a period of 90 days and our knowledgeable, professional personnel will sell your items for you. It eliminates the cost of classified advertising, strangers bargaining in your home, and assures you of getting the highest price for your items. Our inventory comes from a variety of sources including designer showrooms, model homes, manufacturer samples, conservator estates, and YOU!

WE SPECIALIZE IN QUALITY HOME FURNISHINGS
Our inventory consists of all types of upscale furniture, fine accessories for the home, patio furniture, home office furniture, artwork, and lamps. Acceptable items must be in excellent condition. We do not consign items that need to be refinished or repaired, and they must be complete with necessary parts for assembly. Upholstered furniture should look like NEW (It must be clean…no fading…no stains…not worn or torn).

WHO SETS THE PRICE?
This is important. Priced too high…the items won't sell. Priced too low…it's unfair to the consignor. We price to sell with resale pricing and our experience helps us price fairly for both buyer and seller. Our store targets for sales within two weeks. We sell your quality items for maximum profit quickly! PAYMENT? Unlike most consignment stores, we offer 55% of the sales price to the consignor. Checks for sold items are calculated on the first business day of each month for items sold the previous month. Checks are mailed within 3-days thereafter, noting the items sold.

WHAT IF MY ITEMS DON 'T SELL?
Items that are desirable and priced right to sell! During your 90 day contract, after 30 days Austin Home Collection will lower the price by 10% and after 60 days another 10%. You may reclaim your merchandise within 10 calendar days of contract expiration—or you may elect to have it donated. Your donation is tax deductible and a tax form will be mailed to you.
